• COMPANY HISTORY
CYCLONE'S CEO and Founder, Richard Rohrbacher, has been in the industrial cleaning business for 35 years. For most of his adult life, he has been driven to develop and build equipment that would clean up our Nation’s waterways. Born and raised in the Arizona desert, Richard knows first hand what a precious commodity clean safe water is.
Being an inventor for as long as he can remember, as a child Richard built rockets and racecars, and created machines out of scrap lumber and equipment scrounged from his Dad’s garage. Later, he channeled his inventive spirit into creating industrial cleaning equipment that included the first Soil Sanitation System for the United States Department of Agriculture and decontamination devices for Nuclear Generating Plants.
CYCLONE was created to develop and commercialize technological advancements in hard surface cleaning. In 1994 Richard developed and patented his high-speed surface-cleaning system that has proven itself as a true technological breakthrough.
Since its development in 1994, the CYCLONE System has been tested in extreme environments and used at some of the biggest and dirtiest places in the world; Airport Gates and Runways and University Parking Garages.
To test and refine the CYCLONE Cleaning System, CYCLONE has performed Gate Cleaning, Runway Rubber Removal and Paint Line Removal on most of the major airports in the Pacific Southwest of the United States. We’ve also put the system to extreme testing on Military bases, including Aircraft carrier decks. To test the smaller CYCLONE Systems, we’ve cleaned and maintained the parking garages for Arizona State University since 1998.
CYCLONE'S goal was to perfect the equipment before it’s release to the public. That goal has been achieved.
